We've redesigned the Ovi Share website from top to bottom to make your media sharing experience better. The new design brings to life photos and videos from you and your friends and makes it easier to find the features you need most.
The Fishbowl
Media glides by straight from your activity feed on the home page. Embed this into your own web site to share your experience.
What's New?
We’ve improved many features based on your feedback. The changes include:
- Better Sharing - You can now share photos and videos individually without having to create an album first. Plus, comments on an item show to all viewers.
- Higher Quality Images - A new photo transcoding platform produces higher quality images. The larger size on the media page shows more detail.
Improved Media Page - The media page has more room for your photos and videos--see with whom they are shared, the comments and the capture time and place.
- Album Page - Channels have been renamed to Albums and the most recently used albums display on the home page for quick access. Plus, now you can change the number of thumbnails shown on one page.
- Easier Experience - Tasks such as sharing, commenting and organizing are now easier to find and use with simpler menus and in-place actions.
Quality Upgrade for Existing Photos
Because of the large number of photos stored in Ovi, it will take a few days for us to upgrade all media to the new quality and sizes. In this time you will see some issues with the rotation, location data, and others. This will be fixed automatically, and all your photos will look better.
Other Features
As part of this transformation, we've disabled some features. We realize that some of your favorite features are missing, but don't worry, we are working to improve them. Also, Ovi Share now only allows uploading image and video file types. With support for over 100 file types we work with the most popular media formats used for capturing and sharing your life. To upload other file types you can now use the Ovi Files service.
Enjoy the new site and if you have any feedback just use our Contact Us page.

UPDATE: We are aware of the problem with existing embedded slideshows. We are working on a fix to release right away and will let you know as soon as it is released. Existing embedded media will automatically be fixed so you don't have to make any changes on your sites.

I love the design, its really cool. But most of the features missing

Glad you are finally responding to comments on your blog. As an avid fan of your website, I am deeply disappointed by the fact that you completely disabled anything that made it special or unique.
It is now a cleanly designed generic website.
Never mind the fact that you disabled the "Publish to web" functionality which was brilliant. Now I can no longer select and work on multiple photos or look and share multiple sizes. The fun bugs, like making geotagging work remain.
I know you offer a free service and I love that. But at the same time, to garner traffic and traction - and I recommended your site to many doubters - you need to improve, not just change.
If the fact that you did not care to provide an updated Share on Ovi application for my N95-8GB is a hint, I think I will just move on to Flickr. For $20/year they at least have functionality that they keep or improve and not drastically change.

Let me add to the missing features:
No more tagging, no more in-place image name editing from the album view.
You did not add by subtraction.
Fail.

@ CJ
When I want to "resize" my videos I just change the embed code, I do edit it to the Youtube videos size, for example.
@ Share Team
When I share a video in an external website (blog, for ex.), there should be a feature to copy the embed code, because this way it is only possible to copy the embed code through my share on ovi page. Can't you add that feature??!

So, I went to one of my blogs today (Blogspot based) and what the heck, all previously done "embed feeds" from Ovi Share are just black!
Is it really so that this change you made killed all previously done embeds? If so, is there going to be fix for that or is the expectation that users go and re-embed all again?
New look is nice though but...
