We're happy to report that newly uploaded videos are once again being transcoded for in-place playback on Twango. And thanks to our clever engineers, you're going to notice a significant improvement in the quality of the video playback.
All of the past videos are being re-transcoded at this new higher quality level, and with a few exceptions, should be online and ready to play within a few days. So no need to reload your old videos again - they'll be ready to play in-place soon if they aren't already.

Would it be possible to list which video codecs and video format are supported by twango. Half of the videos in the newly updated video page are not playable inplace

yeah most of my videos dont play too, its really kind of annoying. if they hadnt been supported in the first place, wouldnt have been a big deal, but now they are up there but cant be streamed.

we are now offering transcoding support for most common video types such as: wmv, mpeg4, avi, and 3gp. However, we are currently unable to support mov, and divx videos.
